Well Connected – VIP Road

While it is tough to trace how VIP Road actually got its name, the promising real estate of the region, does make it very important on the realty-watch list. Keep a tab on the commercial and residential developments in this region.

Till about a decade or two, this expansive, well maintained road cut across a predominantly residential area. Connecting the National Highway via the busy Rama Talkies Road and with the affluent Waltair area and Collector’s Bungalow, VIP Road has undergone a complete metamorphosis in the last five years. Now home to major shopping complexes like the Pantaloons, Shopper’s Stop, N-Circle and others, this road is fast becoming one of the most sought after addresses for commercial and residential properties in Port City. At least three commercial and residential properties are under various stages of construction along the approximately 1km stretch that is already home to popular a restaurant, an eye hospital, dentist and several other commercial establishments, including a bowling alley.

Considering that this road is well connected to most of the premium business areas of the city, is quite close to the Highway and pretty much in the centre of the city, the demand on this road has seen sudden spurge; to the extent that one of the buildings under construction was sold out even before the construction was completed. VIP Road is in the neighbourhood of other upmarket shopping hubs like Siripuram and Sampath Vinayaka Temple Road. More importantly, it is very near to the RTC Complex and also not far away from Maddilapalem, which is another important junction. The latest high-rise coming up on VIP road is the VIP Towers by GCON. It is an opulent 15-level building with 11 floors for residential and three floors from the ground for commercial activities. Promoted as the futuristic iconic landmark of VIP Road, the grand edifice will have extravagant floor spaces, amenities, stylish elevation and a swanky look.
