
K.S. Viswanathan, Commissioner of VMRDA, has been transferred and posted as the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department. The State government issued orders to this effect on 9 October.
Viswanathan, a 2017 batch IAS officer, took over as the VMRDA Commissioner in July 2024.
Viswanathan had also served as the Assistant Collector of Anantapur, Sub-Collector of Narasapur, Joint Collector of Prakasam and Visakhapatnam.
