Nehru Park near sector 8 is where many people from different places come for ‘Chhath festival’ in winter. It is a perfect place to spend some quality time with family and friends and even has good selfie spots.
Due to a lot of parks, temples and the peaceful environment, people from faraway places come here for spending their leisure time. College students too, from in and around the city come to have a wonderful experience.
Steel plant has 2 community clubs which have a swimming pool, theatre, reading room, and gym. It even has restaurants and bakeries. Sports enthusiasts get to avail facilities such as a badminton court and snooker board among others. These clubs not only keep the denizens here entertained but also bring the people closer and helping in forging new bonds.
