With the Digital India Program going ahead with great gusto, RTA is not far behind is now in plans for going online. It is the plans of the Center to convert the essential public sector services into the online mode and hence the Digital India Program. RTA is also getting its services and offerings online. It is now bringing its services through the Central government-owned Common Services Centre (CSC). It helps the people from all areas, rural or urban access it better.
The four districts of Andhra Pradesh, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari have over 2,500 CSCs including 970 in Visakhapatnam, 469 in Srikakulam and 450 in Vizianagaram districts. After the partnership between Mee Seva and RTA was terminated, Andhra govt. took to the services of the CSCs. These were launched by the Centre under its Digital India programme.
