Visakhapatnam is all set to host yet another landmark round of events with Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu blessing the Vizag Bay Marathon.

Not just your average marathon this one, people of Visakhapatnam. The Vizag Bay Marathon is all set to happen soon on December 23rd and the registrations are already pouring in. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has blessed the night marathon by launching its website – http://vizagbay-mrathon.com. Among the events Visakhapatnam is set to host, this stands out because of it’s unique timing which is the night. All the city lovers enhoy Vizag most by the night and int he course of events for Vizag Bay marathon, one can expect to be thrilled by the united city effort under the starry sky.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu feels it will be yet another win for the city and truly so. Last year 7,500 people participated and this year the turn out is expected to cross 10,000. It says a lot about the city which takes it’s fitness goals seriously and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu applauds the strong and encouraging message it will send.

PrimeLife Sports Association in association with Deep Trust are conducting the event and the categories are 5 kms, 10 kms and half-marathon i.e 21.1 kms. The race-director is Dr.Murali Nannepenneni who feels such events not only raise awareness but are a way to put a united city effort and showcase talents.
