“Upset” fan hurls shoe at Tamannaah in Hyderabad

In a rather bizarre incident, a fan hurled a shoe at actress Tamannaah for allegedly being upset over her choice of films. The Culprit has been identified as Kareemuddin, an engineering student who is a resident of Hyderabad.

The incident took place at Himayatnagar in Hyderabad when Tamannaah visited the area for the inauguration of a jewellery store. Even though the footwear missed the actor, she visibly looked shaken by the incident.

“Before leaving the place, she stood behind a barricade waving at the crowd. When the actress was greeting her fans, Kareemuddin, an engineering student from Musheerabad, suddenly removed his shoe and hurled it at her,” Narayanguda inspector B Ravindar was quoted as saying. The bouncers identified the miscreant and handed over him to the police before things turned ugly.

Kareemuddin claimed that he was an ardent fan of Tamannaah and was upset by the fact that she didn’t act in any of the Telugu movies that released in the recent past.

A case was registered against Kareemuddin who was later let away on bail.

Tamannaah is a popular actor in Tollywood and is renowned for her roles in the films of ‘Happy Days’, ‘100% Love’, and ‘Oopiri’.

Earlier, a similar incident took place during Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Praja Yatra’ in Telangana when a slipper was hurled at the Janasena Party chief’s car.
