Visakhapatnam records 3rd brutal murder, woman killed by husband

Visakhapatnam records a spurt in crimes with the 3rd brutal murder taking place on Sunday. Man kills 29 year old wife.

The 3rd in a series of brutal murders rocks Visakhapatnam as a woman is brutally murdered by her husband on Sunday. The murder took place In Anandapuram Mandal and allegedly the motive behind the murder happens to be a family dispute that escalated out of hand. This shocking event took place in a series of shocking crimes in Visakhapatnam after the deaths of the older man and the yoga teacher.

The deceased is identified as  29-year-old M Eswaramma and the accused as M Koteswara Rao. He happens to have been working as a truck helper and hails from Vemagottipalem in Anandapuram mandal on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam. The neighbours bear testimony to the unhappy and violent life the couple lead where in heated arguments and discord were common. On Sunday night, the argument escalated and Koteswara Rao thrashed his wife and banged her head on the wall. After this he proceeded to strangle her. She did not survive the fatal injuries and died on the spot.

Neighbors in their area of Visakhapatnam mention that repeated counselling had not helped and the accused never gave a thought to changing his ways. As per The Times of India, Anandapuram police have registered a case of suspicious death and took the accused into custody after sending the body for post-mortem.
