Telugu TV actress Naga Jhansi found hanging in her residence

In yet another shocker to the Television fraternity, Telugu TV actress Naga Jhansi has suspectedly committed suicide in her apartment in Hyderabad.

Jhansi, who is known for her roles in several TV serials including ‘Pavitra Bandham’ on MAA TV, was found hanging in her apartment at Sri Nagar Colony on Wednesday, police informed.

Reportedly, Jhansi’s brother, Durga Prasad, alerted the cops after the 21-year-old actress did not respond to repeated door knocks. After breaking open into the house, the police found her hanging from the ceiling fan.

The reports also reveal Jhansi’s relatives to have informed that she was in a relationship with a man, who was a “distant relative”. Reportedly, early speculations suggest that failure in love could have caused Jhansi to take the extreme step.

The police have shifted the deceased’s body for autopsy and a case has been registered. Also, Jhansi’s phone has been seized by the police and investigation is on to gain further insights.

It may be recalled that last year, Telugu TV personality Radhika Reddy committed suicide in Hyderabad. It was reported that Reddy jumped off her building after leaving a suicide note behind.

Stating depression as the reason behind her decision to end her life, the suicide note read, “Due to depression, I am killing myself. Nobody else is the reason. My brain is my enemy.”
