Special trains between Secunderabad to Brahmapur to clear the festive rush

In view of the extra rush, during the festive season, and to provide the passengers with comfortable travel, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) authorities have decided to run special trains between Secunderabad and Brahmapur.

The special train (Train No:07485) will leave Secunderabad on 9 January, 2022 (Sunday) at 17.50 hr and reach Visakhapatnam at 06:30 hrs. Going further, it will leave Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs and reach Brahmapur at 11:30 hrs on the next day.

On the return direction, the train (Train No:07486) will leave Brahmapur on 10 January, 2022 (Monday) at 13:00 hrs, and reach Visakhapatnam at 17:15 hrs. From here it will depart at 17:35 hrs and will reach Secunderabad at 07:10 hrs on the following day.

The various stoppages for theses special trains, in between Secunderabad and Brahmapur, are Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Kondapalli, Rayanapadu, Eluru, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road and Palasa.The train consists of Two-Tier AC (one coach), Three-Tier AC (three coaches), Sleeper Class (twelve coaches), General Second Class (four coaches), and Second Class cum luggage (two coaches).

Apart from this, the Railway authorities have attached additional coaches to demand special trains in order to clear the rush.

One Two Tier AC coach has been attached to Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Express (Train No:17016) from 1 January, 2022 to 31 January, 2022 and for Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express (Train No:17015) from 3 January, 2022 to 2 February, 2022.

One Three Tier AC coach will be attached to Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Garibrath (Train No:12740) from 1 January,2022 to 31 January, 2022 and for Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Garibrath Express (Train No: 12739) from 2 January, 2022 to 1 February, 2022.

One Sleeper class coach will be attached to Visakhapatnam-Kacheguda Express (Train No:12861) from 2 January,2022 and Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Express (Train No: 12862) from 3 January, 2022.
