Bollywood Singer Asees Kaur talks us through her journey so far

Having sung the beautiful numbers of Baarish and Khaab among others, singer Asees Kaur’s soothing voice is winning hearts of music lovers.

“I belong to a Sikh family and my parents always wanted me to sing Gurbani. So I embarked on my journey of becoming a professional Gurbani singer. Eventually, I shifted to Mumbai to fulfil my long-time dream of becoming a playback singer. Luckily, music composers liked my voice and presented me with some wonderful opportunities.

Nowadays, the industry has become quite welcoming to new artists and is providing many opportunities to talented youngsters. So the chances are up for grabs. I advise all the budding talents out there to practice really hard so as to excel with their talent.

The setup is amazing. The sea is so beautiful, and the entire atmosphere here seems to make the whole experience very enjoyable.”
