In an attempt to attract the tourists in Visakhapatnam, the tourism department is all set to introduce open top buses in the district. Focussing on bolstering various facilities available for those who tour Visakhapatnam, the officials are also chalking out plans to enhance the already available resources.

Reportedly, two new buses are going to be launched for the tourists here. These open top buses will be equipped with modern facilities to enable the tourists to enjoy the beauties of the city. While both the tiers are expected to accommodate 40 passengers each, the bottom one would be air-conditioned. The buses are also expected to run through the city from morning to evening.

The tourism development corporation will even start a special tourist package from Odisha to Visakhapatnam. Expected to be operational in about a month’s time, the package will be consisting of two air-conditioned buses that will be connecting Bhuvneshwar from Odisha to Vizag and Araku.

Additionally, in another tourist attraction, a 50-seater boat is set to be launched on the Visakhapatnam waters from the coming January.
