Naga Chaitanya-starrer Love Story announces its release date

The wait is finally over. As the theatres reopen in the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Love Story starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is all set to release in theatres. The film is among the most anticipated Telugu films of 2021 and had earlier been postponed twice. Now with the Telugu Film Industry (TFI) making major announcements, the filmmakers of Love Story have locked a date for its theatrical release.

GSK Media, Love Story’s PR agency and digital promotions partner, announced that the film is all set to have a grand theatrical release on 10 September, 2021, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaviti 2021. 

Sharing the release date of Love Story on Twitter, Naga Chaitanya said, “This Vinayaka Chaviti is Extra Special!” In the poster unveiled along with the release date tweet, the characters of Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya are seen running hand-in-hand with smiles on their faces.

Love Story revolves around the story of two aspirational young people (Mounica and Revanth) who move to a city in search of work from their village in Telangana. Mounica is played by Sai Pallavi and Revanth is played by Naga Chaitanya. Apart from the lead pair, the film will cast Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala, Devayani, Easwari Rao, Sathyam Rajesh, and Thagubothu Ramesh in pivotal roles. 

The director of the film is Sekhar Kammula. This will be the second project for Sai Pallavi with the noted director. The two previously worked together for the film Fidaa. Love Story is produced by Amigo Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. 

The film’s two major updates have turned into social media sensations. Love Story’s teaser, which was released on 10 January received an overwhelming response from the audience. ‘Saranga Dariya’, a Telangana folk song from the film, achieved a unique feat of its own and was a social media trend with several influencers remaking the video song.
