Vizag’s largest and classiest of conferences is back! The Young Leaders International Model United Nations is here soon with four exciting committees and never before seen agendas. Featuring at the conference are:
United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
Tackling the prevalence of violent extremism in the African Subcontinent, with special emphasis on North Africa
United Nations General Assembly – Disarmament and International Security Committee (UNGA-DISEC)
Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security, and development.
United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
Protection of the right to privacy with regard to the Internet and Information Technologies.
Continuous Crisis Committee (CCC)
And the exciting Continuous Crisis Committee, the Secretary-General’s ad hoc crisis committee, with the agenda “ISIS Invasion”.
Model United Nations has through the years become key to the growth of students from all over the world. It allows students to step into the shoes of UN ambassadors, giving them a platform to debate current issues that obstruct the organisation’s agenda. Delegates of the Model UN prepare and draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts and problems with global ramifications.
So with the motto of – Resolution today, Revolution tomorrow – #MarkThisMUN.
