After stellar returns at the box office, Akhil Akkineni’s Most Eligible Bachelor is now all set for its OTT release. The rom-com enjoyed a good stint in the theatres, becoming Akhil’s most successful movie till date. And ever since its theatrical release, audiences have been poised on an OTT release announcement.
After much wait, it has now been revealed that Most Eligible Bachelor will release on the Telugu OTT platform aha. People will only have to wait four more days before the movie is made available to stream on 19 November.
Starring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde, this movie entered the theatres on 15 October 2021, becoming one of the first big-budget Telugu releases after the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The movie largely benefited from theatres being allowed to run at full capacity, accumulating more than Rs. 50 crores in its time at the theatres. It’s not a surprise then that Most Eligible Bachelor is one of the biggest OTT releases this month.
Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Most Eligible Bachelor is the story of a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) who returns to India for his marriage. In his search for the ideal partner, he falls in love with a stand-up comic. However, things go hilariously wrong along the way. While the movie sails on a strong premise and the lead cast’s performances, Gopi Sundar’s soundtrack has particularly drawn praise from the public. Especially with songs like Leharaayi touching the hearts of the people.
Now, the movie is expected to be popular on the newly renewed aha streaming platform as well. Who’s excited to watch Most Eligible Bachelor at their homes?
