List of vaccination centres in Vizag released for second dose of Covaxin

To avoid confusion on vaccine administration centres for the citizens in Vizag, District Medical and Health Officials released list of centres for second dose vaccination scheduled to be held on Tuesday.

As per the release given by the DMHO, those who are eligible for a second dose of the Covaxin vaccine and received a message about their second dose are advised to go to the respective centers.

The DMHO has downloaded the list of individuals who are pending their second dose vaccine. Manually, all the second-dose due beneficiaries will be communicated through an SMS/call on their second dose schedule. Also, to maintain social distancing, police will be informed a day before to maintain the crowd in peace. Vaccination drive will be conducted from 7 AM to 6 PM. This procedure for second dose vaccination in Vizag shall be followed till 31 May 2021.

As per an update by the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, 1,618 positive cases were reported in Visakhapatnam on Monday and the total covid-19 cases reached 99,437.  In Andhra Pradesh, 14,986 positives were reported in 24 hours taking the total to 12,99,694.
