Drawing curtains on the most anticipated announcement of MasterChef Telugu Season 1, K Krishna Tejasvi, a home baker from Hyderabad, Telangana, was announced as the winner. With this, Kamal Jakkilinki, from Vizag, and GD Anusha, from Hyderabad, have been declared as the runner ups for Season 1 of the show.

MasterChef Telugu Season 1 is a Telugu culinary reality show that was telecast on Gemini TV. With several competitions and challenges, the contestants are tested for their sense of taste, choice of ingredients, as well as the flexibility to adapt and manage time, and resources, in preparing a dish. Ever since the show started, this programme has been garnering appreciation for providing a platform to budding and aspiring chefs from the Telugu speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The MasterChef Telugu Season 1 started with Tamannaah Bhatia hosting the show. For several reasons, Anasuya Bharadwaj took over towards the fag end of the show. Chefs Sanjay Thumma, Chalapathi Rao, and Mahesh Padla were the judges.
Bringing laurels to Vizag, there were 3 contestants, in the top 14, from the city grabbing the nation’s attention with their incredible cuisines
