Indian international airline, Jet Airways will soon be operating more flights connecting Vizag to two of the country’s major cities- Delhi and Mumbai. The airlines will be re-introducing its first daily flight to Delhi and second daily flight to Mumbai from September 1.
The flight 9W 169, from Delhi to Visakhapatnam, will depart at 7 am and arrive in the city at 9:20 am. The 9W 170 flight, will take off from Visakhapatnam at 8:30 pm and land in Delhi at 10:50 pm.
On the other hand, the Vizag-Mumbai flight, 9W 938, will leave Vizag at 10:25 am and reach the Mumbai at 12:30 pm while the Mumbai-Vizag flight, 9W 933, will depart from Mumbai at 5:15 pm and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 7:20 pm.
It is expected that the announced flights will facilitate international connectivity to those flying to and from Visakhapatnam.
As per O Naresh Kumar of APATA, the Delhi flight in evening will connect all leading international flights while the morning flight from Delhi will help all international passengers coming at midnight to New Delhi catch the morning flight to Visakhapatnam.
