With a release from the Unstoppable actor to the Icon Star, here are the 7 Tollywood films that are set to release in theatres in the month of December. 

#1 Akhanda

Akhanda starring Nandamuri Balakrishna is first up on the list of Tollywood films in theatres this December. It is a fantasy action drama written and directed by Boyapati Srinivas. Along with Balakrishna, this film will also feature Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth.

#2 Skylab

Skylab is a fictional story that stemmed from real incidents at Karimnagar in 1979. It revolves around the space shuttle that was expected to crash in the south of Cape Town, but changed its ways. The film portrays the fears that residents of Karimnagar and Nizamabad lived in, during the preceding weeks of the crash.

#3 Lakshya

Lakshya is a sports drama starring Naga Shaurya, Ketika Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Sachin Khedekar. This film is based on the ancient sport – archery. The posters of Naga Shaurya’s toned and six-pack body has left everyone waiting for its theatrical release.

#4 Good Luck Sakhi 

Good Luck Sakhi is a sports – romantic comedy film starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead. The plot follows Sakhi who supposedly brings bad luck to everyone. The film Good Luck Sakhi is all set to be released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

#5 Pushpa: The Rise

Starring Allu Arjun in a never-before-seen avatar, Pushpa centres around the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa has been announced to be a two-part story, with the first part releasing in 2021 and the second part in 2022.

#6 Shyam Singh Roy

Shyam Singh Roy is a period action – thriller film starring Natural Star Nani in the lead. Set in the backdrop of Kolkata, this film is based on the theme of reincarnation. Alongside Nani, this film will star Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian.

#7 Ghani

Ghani is a sports drama starring Varun Tej. The plot of the film revolves around a boxer. To prepare for this role in Ghani, Varun Tej underwent heavy training under Tony Jefferis. The movie has been shot partially in Vizag and Hyderabad.
