Codemania to offer a special summer internship program in Vizag

Hyderabad-based startup Codemania will soon be conducting a special summer internship program for the students in Vizag.

In a digital world that is expanding at the rate of knots, staying abreast with the latest trends and developments has formed the need of the hour for many students and budding engineers. However, as many experts rightly point out, several colleges of the present day continue to follow outdated syllabi, thereby falling well short of equipping their students with the latest industry developments. Trying to address this issue, Codemania, a brainchild of Rahul Singh, has been conducting several workshops and programmes in an effort to train the students in various technologies of the contemporary age.

Launched in 2018, Codemania creates a common platform and connects students, startups, subject experts and industry leaders. “Codemania is a platform where students are trained in courses like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Web Application, and Mobile Application among others. After training the candidates for 15 days, we connect them to industry experts, who are already working with the corresponding technologies. This will not only help the students get hands-on experience but also create awareness on the changing trends in the market, making them industry-ready after graduating from college. Besides, at the end of the course, the students would also receive a Microsoft authorised certification along with a detailed analysis of their course report,” shares Rahul.

An MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) that has already trained students across different cities, Codemania is now all set to offer its first summer internship program in Vizag. Slated to be conducted this May, the event, ‘Summer of Tech’, aims at arming the students with basics in the technologies mentioned above. Apart from providing courses that are typically related to Computer Science, Codemania’s latest offering includes ‘Nirmaan’, which is a specialised course for those pursuing Civil Engineering. “Nirmaan is one of our recent additions. The course trains the upcoming Civil Engineers. Interestingly, we have collaborated with a construction company in Hyderabad and after the completion of this course, the candidates will get to work with the company’s Senior Engineers at one of their ongoing projects,” Rahul adds.
