Here comes to an end to those days where you could only go to some place if the auto driving is willing to drive towards that area. JUGNOO, a Chandigarh based auto aggregation app has set its foot in Vizag. Right now, they have 50 registered auto-drivers with them. Jugnoo has introduced its services in the city with an aim to bring structure into the space of the traffic and enable commuters to hail auto-rickshaws in a more convenient manner. Right now, Jugnoo currently has over 12,000 autos empaneled under its brand across 35 cities. Around 35,000 people transact on the platform every day.
People can book an auto 24X7 from anywhere in the city either through mobile application or by making a call. The GPS will locate the nearest auto and owner of the rickshaw will be sent a notification to reach the passenger. It has potentially turned out to be a useful app for the people willing to use public transportation for cheaper rates than taxis.
