Battery Operated Cars & Self Check-in Kiosks Now At Vizag Airport

A self-check in kiosk and a battery car have been inaugurated by the Airport Director, Vinod Sharma at the Visakhapatnam International Airport.

This battery car has been started to facilitate the differently abled and the senior citizens travelling. This will help them not to stand in the queues at the check in counters as the self-check kiosk enables the passengers with hand baggage to get the boarding pass. This is set up at the aero bridge.

However, the domestic air traffic has comprised of 10.37 lakh in the month of November, 2016 which is a growth of 42% of its previous year. Due to this tremendous increase in the travellers the Airport Authority of India is yet to bring many more facilities like e toilets

, more terminals and other renovation plans in this New Year.

These new facilities are being provided by the Airport Authority of India in order to enhance the local and international travelling passenger’s experience at the Airport.
