[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With an objective to test the efficacy of the contingency plan and streamline procedures to deal with a hijack threat, an anti hijack mock drill was conducted at Visakhapatnam airport by INS Dega on 05 May 2017.
The hijack exercise was conducted with a mock situation created and involved actions by various stake holders and allied agencies including Marine Commandos (MARCOS), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Security Guard (NSG), Airport Authority of India (AAI) and State Government agencies.
