VMRDA Chairman M V Pranav Gopal stated that qualitative changes are clearly visible in the Andhra Pradesh education sector under the leadership of Education Minister Nara Lokesh, marking a new phase for government schools in the state.
He pointed out that a UNESCO study has shown notable improvement in infrastructure and teaching quality in Andhra Pradesh government schools. According to the survey, the coalition government has given top priority to the development of school buildings, classrooms, drinking water facilities, and toilets, creating a better learning environment for students.
Emphasis has also been laid on digital education, with students being provided modern teaching methods through smart classrooms. The VMRDA chairman noted that educational standards have increased with focused teacher recruitment and training, which has strengthened classroom delivery across the state.
He further stated that the government is providing books, uniforms, and educational materials to students on time, ensuring there are no disruptions to learning. As a result, parents are increasingly gaining confidence in government schools, a trend also highlighted by the UNESCO study.
He added that there is a clear improvement in student attendance and academic results, indicating that AP education has entered a new and positive phase. With IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s vision, M V Pranav Gopal said the Andhra Pradesh education system and sector is emerging as a role model for the country.
