9 famous web series that were released in 2021

The web series has helped us survive a pandemic without boredom. Throughout 2020 and 2021, there has been a rise in the number of people watching series online. There were a couple of famous web series, such as friends, Stranger Things, Vampire Diaries, that we have been watching over the years.

Squid Game is the most-watched South Korean web series with nine episodes. The entire series revolves around a group of people playing children’s games. This web series was released on 17 September 2021. The Korean drama, created by Hwang Dong-Hyuk, has become quite popular in the initial days of release. It is a mix of drama and emotion with a twisted plot. This series has got a total of nine episodes.

The Marvel web series starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany is the first-ever TV series from Marvel Studios. This series has nine episodes that premiered from 15 January 2021 to 5 March 2021. It begins with the newlywed couple Wanda and Vision trying to hide their abilities. The rest of the series is all about Wanda’s grief over losing her loved ones as well as certain conflicts which take place.

The last famous web series on the list is Midnight Mass. Midnight Mass is a mini-series written by Mike Flanagan and starring Zach Gilford, Kate Siegel, Hamish Linklater, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli and Henry Thomas. The plot is based on an isolated island community that experiences supernatural events after the arrival of a mysterious priest. This is a supernatural, horror-based series that lasts a total of seven episodes which was released on 24 September 2021.
