The oldest club in Vizag is also in Siripuram. Called the Waltair Club, after the city’s old name, this place is the most prestigious and exclusive of all clubs. Spread over a vast amount of area, this club requires a membership for entry. Some of the most important people in the city have been members of this historic club. From a gym to a library to a theatre, this club has all the facilities a person can ask for.

#6 All India Radio (AIR)

Located a few steps away from Siripuram Circle, this radio station is the oldest in Vizag. It’s for all those classic radio aficionados who love listening to their favourite Telugu songs along with the daily news. Right from 1963, when this radio station was commissioned, people have listened to it every morning.

#7 VMRDA Headquarters and Children’s Arena

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is responsible for the urban development of Vizag city. This government agency’s headquarters is located in Siripuram. It’s a major commercial complex, replete with internet cafes, restaurants and much more. VMRDA’s Children’s Arena, an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000, is also located in Siripuram and one of the popular venues for cultural and recreational events.
