5 upcoming movies in March 2019 to look forward to

2019 has offered a mixed bag for movie lovers thus far. While films such as Uri, Manikarnika, Gully Boy, and F2 raked in moolah at the box office, highly anticipated ones like NTR and Vinaya Vidheya Rama couldn’t quite match the hype generated. However, with the onset of the summer season, several exciting prospects have formed the line to thrill the movie buffs. Captain Marvel – 8 March

A much-awaited flick, among the list of upcoming movies this March, for all the ardent followers of the Marvel universe, Captain Marvel shows the journey of the protagonist, Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the world’s most powerful superheroes.

Badla – 8 March

Badla stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The movie is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is based on the story of a young entrepreneur, who finds the body of her dead lover next to her inside a locked room. As she hires a top lawyer, they both start working together, to unravel the actual mystery behind the death.

The Photograph – 15 March

The Photograph, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra, is a romantic drama, about a struggling street photographer, who convinces a stranger to act as his fiancée, owing to his circumstances. The movie tells us about this unique bond.

Kesari – 21 March

Kesari, starring Akshay Kumar, is a movie based on the true story of Battle of Saragarhi, which is deemed as one of the greatest battles fought in India. Produced by Karan Johar, the film has already set the B-Town buzzing with its riveting trailer. Brace yourselves as the movie is set to hit the theatres soon.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World – 22 March

This American animated action fantasy movie is based on the book series, with the same name, by author Cressida Cowell. While the first two parts in the series were out in 2010 and 2014, the final part in this trilogy is all set to hit the theatres this March.
