Special trains to be operated to clear summer rush

To clear the extra rush of passengers during the ongoing summer season, East Coast Railway has decided to run five train-on-demand summer specials connecting important destinations, including Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin and Faridabad.

The special trains will provide additional travel convenience for passengers travelling from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha towards North India during the peak summer holiday season.

Train No. 08511 Visakhapatnam – Delhi – Visakhapatnam special via Bhubaneswar-Gaya- Prayagaraj will leave Visakhapatnam on May 22 at 4.15 a.m. and arrive in Delhi on May 23 at 11 p.m. In the return direction, Train No. 08512 will leave Delhi on May 25 at 2 a.m. and arrive at Visakhapatnam on May 26 at 5 p.m.

08513/08514 Visakhapatnam–Hazrat Nizamuddin–Visakhapatnam special via Rajahmundry- Ballhahrsha- Nagpur- Agra will leave Visakhapatnam on May 21 at 5:40 p.m. and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin on May 23 at 11.40 a.m.

Train No. 08514 will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin on May 24 at 11.55 p.m.and arrive at Visakhapatnam on May 26 at 10.40 p.m.

08515/08516 Visakhapatnam – Faridabad – Visakhapatnam Special via Araku-Koraput-Raipur-Durg-Nagpur-Agra Cant will leave Visakhapatnam on May 21 at 4.15 a.m. and reach Faridabad on May 23 at 8 a.m.

Train No. 08516 will leave Faridabad on May 25 at 12.10 a.m. and arrive at Visakhapatnam on May 27 at 12.45 a.m. 08517/08518 Visakhapatnam – New Delhi – Visakhapatnam Special via Rayagada- Sambalpur-Jharsuguda- Bilaspur- Katni-Prayagraj will leave Visakhapatnam on May 22 at 3.30 a.m. and arrive at New Delhi on May 23 at 10.30 p.m.

Train No. 08518 will leave New Delhi on May 25 at 1.45 a.m. and reach Visakhapatnam on May 26 at 4 p.m. Train No. 08519/08520 Jagdalpur – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Jagdalpur special via Koraput, Raipur, Nagpur, Agra Cant will leave Jagdalpur on May 21 at 11 a.m. and arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin on May 23 at 9 a.m.

Train No. 08520 will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin on May 25 at 2 a.m. and reach Jagdalpur on May 26 at 11 p.m.

All the above special trains will consist of 22 coaches, including 2 general, 18 sleeper class coaches and 2 second class luggage’ cum-Divyangjan coach.

Passengers have been requested to make use of the special train services during the summer.
