Spanish fashion retailer Zara opens its online store in India

All the fashionistas in the country have a new reason to rejoice. One of the biggest clothing brands, Zara, has started its online sales in India from today. The Spanish clothing retailer will be offering the collection from its 20 stores spread across India. It has 2200 stores in 93 countries all across the globe. This new step will help strengthen its foothold in the e-commerce market as well.

While the deliveries to the metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, etc will be done within 2-4 business days, deliveries to other cities will be done within 5-8 business days. Gati and Blue Dart Express are partnering with Zara to deliver the orders.Orders less than Rs 4,000 will be charged an extra amount of Rs 299. The company has even opened a warehouse near Delhi so as to cater goods to the e-commerce orders.
