Zakir Naik’s infamous speeches have finally caught up with him and he’s now been accused of inciting the violence in Bangladesh with his speeches. Two of the seven terrorists who opened fire in a Dhaka cafe in Bangladesh have reportedly been inspired by Naik’s preachings. Maharashtra government has began inquiring the claims and police have been stationed outside the preacher’s office amidst protests.
Zakir Naik who is in Mecca, has commented through a WhatsApp video saying he is not shocked that the Dhaka terrorists are his ‘fans’ and that he disagrees with the claim that he inspired them.
His supporters have been firing up the social media saying he cannot be accused for the terror strikes, starting up the hashtag #IStandWithZakirNaik.
