Andhra youth kills self in Vizag demanding special status for the state

In what has come as a shocking news, a youngster from Andhra Pradesh committed suicide in the Nakapalle mandal of Vizag, demanding special status for the state. The deceased, identified as Trinadh of Rajahmundry in East Godavari district, hanged himself from a cell tower near the Vempadu toll plaza in the mandal.

Trinadh, who was a degree holder, made several futile attempts a securing any job and was allegedly frustrated over the lack of sufficient employment opportunities in the state. With the youth not being able to find a job anywhere, his brother-in-law appointed him as an assistant in several tasks.

However, Trinadh, who was assigned a task on Friday, took the extreme step after leaving a suicide note behind. The mortal remains of the 28-year-old have been sent to a local mortuary. A case has been registered under Section 174 of CrPC. Nakapalle Sub Inspector of Police, P Simhachalam, is currently investigating the suicide.

Earlier, another youngster from Madanapalle committed suicide for the same reason. The 29-year-old, identified as N Sudhakar, was a worker in a handloom weaving firm in Rama Rao Nagar colony in Madanapalle town of Andhra Pradesh. As per a letter recovered from his pocket, a message read, “No one is responsible for our death. Special category is our right”.
