Yoga teacher in Vizag brutally beaten to death with iron rods

In what is coming as a spine-chilling incident, a 36-year-old Yoga teacher in Vizag has been brutally murdered by a couple of unidentified miscreants. The horrific incident which took place in the Marripalem VUDA layout area of Visakhapatnam on Friday night has been recorded on a CCTV. The footage obtained revealed that the victim was attacked repeatedly by a couple of men with iron rods. The reason behind the murder is being suspected to be a possible business rivalry.

The deceased has been identified as P Venkataramana, who ran a Yoga training centre at Marripalem.

The police, who are investigating the case for further insights, are currently on the lookout for the culprits. Further details are yet to be ascertained.

Earlier, a 64-year-old man was found murdered near Andhra University’s quarters in the city. Reportedly, the deceased was identified as B Venkata Ramana Murthy, a retired railways employee who was a resident of Kancharalapalem area. The police suspect that financial issues or any previous enmities could be behind this killing.
