A balcony full of plants, photographs that definitely feature RK Beach, a favourite local snack or a tiny souvenir can suddenly make a concrete apartment in another city feel a little less unfamiliar.

Vizag’s identity was not built overnight, but has been shaped by generations of people, through their habits, languages, festivals, friendships and their relationship with the sea and the land around them. There is something comforting about knowing that the soul of Vizag stays rooted in the quiet warmth, and a stubborn kind of love for the city itself, which makes Vizag, Vizag.
