The couples in Vizag just seem to be getting over their Valentine’s Day celebrations. The V-day in the city had the beaches, restaurants and other hangout spots filled with merry couples as they celebrated the special occasion to mark their love for each other. The sweet shops and other gift outlets too were busy during the period as the choicest of items were being selected to prove how special the couple’s love is.
Usually, while some gift their partners with those romantic greeting cards, others take them out on a dreamy date at an iconic setting. However, Vizagites this year seemed to go high on technology as many chose to purchase some high-end gadgets to make their partners feel special. As per our sources, more than 100 iPads were sold on 14th February from an Apple reseller in the city. These numbers are exponentially high as compared to the sale numbers reported on other regular days. Other gadgets too saw a higher number of purchasers on this day. It has been learned that while the number of gadgets sold on 14th February of each year is high, this year resulted in a particular hike.
