Vizag has good news coming up quite literally. Two new parks are coming up in Vizag and as we know that is not just a beautifying measure but one that will please everyone. Vizag MP K Haribabu. has laid the foundation stones for the construction of Smart Parks at the RK Beach Road opposite YMCA and another one at Chinna Waltair Colony in the city on Friday.
The Smart Park is coming up at a cost of 3.54 crores. A lot of facilities are being added for visitors. These include climbing net, playing equipment for children, ship deck, musical polls, playground drums and merry go round. Not just all this but there is no compromise on the development of the surroundings. Special efforts are being made to come with better lighting and landscaping in the park.
The park coming up in Chinna Waltair is estimated to cost 99 lakhs. Authorities have been asked to complete the works as per schedule without causing any delay and for locals of the area to cooperate with those working on it.
These efforts are directed at people of Vizag being able to spend pleasant time and use it for rest and recreation. GVMC Commissioner M Harinarayanan has explained about the parks construction and the facilities.
