The East Coast Railways (ECoR) has announced that the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express will now run daily, starting from today, 7 April 2022. Taking the demand for the train into consideration, the ECoR has taken the decision to convert this bi-weekly train into a daily train. Araku observes tourists all around the year, disregarding the season and climate. To facilitate this high inflow of tourists, a daily train has been commissioned between Vizag and Araku.
Train no. 18514 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express will depart from the Visakhapatnam Railway Station daily at 9 pm and reach Kirandul at 9 am the next day.
Train no. 18513 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam will start from Kirandul at 3 pm daily and will reach Visakhapatnam at 2.40 am the next day.
Stoppages: Kottavalasa, Araku, Koraput, Jeypore, Jagdalpur, and Dantewada.
Passengers are instructed to register their mobile number during the ticket purchase to receive an SMS update regarding the timings or any cancellation of the Vizag Araku train. Login to the IRCTC website for more information.
