Vizag Steel Plant Recruitment: 150 apprenticeship trainees announced for 2021 batch

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited – Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has released a notification inviting applications for the role of Graduate Apprenticeship Trainees’ Training / Technician Apprenticeship Trainees’ Training, from the Engineering / Diploma graduated candidates. This notification is open only for those who graduated during the years 2019/2020/2021. The Vizag Steel Plant notification notifies recruitment of as many as 100 intakes for engineering graduates and 50 intakes for diploma graduates in the 2021 batch.    

The apprenticeship opportunity is offered only for branches mentioned below:

Engineering:	Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science / IT, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Civil, and Chemical
Diploma:	Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, and Civil

Eligibility

• Qualification: 2019, 2020 & 2021 Engineering / Diploma passed out candidates and who have registered in MHRD NATS Portal only (www.mhrdnats.gov.in)
• Candidates who have previously undergone Apprenticeship and/or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training and/or presently in employment elsewhere being registered for Apprenticeship Training elsewhere under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, are not eligible to apply

Procedure for applying for the RINL Apprenticeship

• Register in MHRD NATS web portal
• After successful registration, fill in the google form through the link given below

• The last date for submission of the google form is 18 November, 2021

Selection Procedure for the RINL Apprenticeship

• Candidates shall be called for a personal interview based on the percentage of marks achieved in the respective discipline/branch taking into consideration the respective reservation norms
• The Mobile Number and e-mail ID given in the Bio-data form/online registration in NATS Portal must be valid for a minimum of twelve months for communication purposes
• Candidates shortlisted for the interview would be required to furnish documents regarding proof of Date of Birth, Qualification, Category (as applicable) etc. as per intimation to be given to the shortlisted candidates

Stipend

• A stipend of ₹4,984/- per month for Engineering Graduates (GAT)
• A stipend of ₹3,542/- per month for Diploma Engineering (TAT)

RINL Apprenticeship Information Desk 

• The period of apprenticeship training is one year
• This is not a regular vacancy and shall be relieved on completion of one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973
