A 7-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted two minor boys on Friday evening in Vizag. Coming to light lately, the incident took place in the Padmanabham mandal of Vizag.
Reportedly, the victim was taken to an under-construction site in her colony and sexually assaulted by two boys aged 14 and 15 years respectively. With the girl informing the same to her mother, the latter approached the police and lodged a complaint against the wrong-doers.
Swinging into action swiftly, the police took the accused into custody and filed a case under the POCSO Act. The victim, on the other hand, has been admitted to KGH in Vizag.
The disturbing incident comes to light after it was reported that another woman was allegedly gang-raped by her friends a few days ago in Vizag. As per the details revealed by the police and the victim’s relatives, nine youngsters (5 boys and 4 girls), belonging to Kailasapuram and Kapparada, on Thursday, went to Pendurthi to attend a birthday party. After the celebrations, they started back home on two-wheelers around 7:30 in the evening and headed in the Anandapuram-Pendurthi route, where the victim was assaulted by the accused.
