Visakhapatnam North will be witnessing the highest number of candidates take the field in the upcoming polls, the recently revealed numbers suggest. While the constituency will be witnessing as many as 16 candidates battling it out, the constituency of Narsipatnam, with 8 candidates, stands as the Assembly seat with the least number of candidates who will be contesting the polls. Reportedly, 24 candidates have taken back their nominations for Assembly constituencies in Visakhapatnam.
On the other hand, the final list of the candidates contesting for the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency consists of 14 names. VV Lakshmi Narayana (Janasena Party), Bharat Mathukumilli (Telugu Desam Party), Daggubati Purandeswari (BJP), Pedada Ramani Kumari (Congress), MVV Satyanarayana (YSR Congress Party), B Jayagopal (Pyramid Party of India), Geroge Bangari (VCK), and independent candidates, Anmish Varma, R Udaygiri, Kothapalli Geetha, Gannu Mallayya, Gampala Somasundaram, Guntu Durga Prasad, and P Rajasekhar are the final 14 candidates who are among the race for the MP seat in the upcoming polls in Visakhapatnam.
