Brand new, modern convention center opens in Visakhapatnam to up the ante of party scene. Yet another feather in the cap for Vizag Smart City.

Visakhapatnam Smart City now has a brand new, state of art convention center with superb architectural offerings, space and facilities. MRC Kakatiya Convention Center offers 80,000 sqft area for a variety of events ranging from weddings, conventions and corporate events, exhibitions and such. This new venture to provide a world class convention center to the city of Visakhapatnam and its people is the initiative of Kakatiya Cultural Association. The association is a group of industrialists, businessmen and philanthropists and it was their endeavor that has given this convention center.

Facilities and more

The facility boasts interiors well appointed and expansive services to boot. In addition to this services and back up are also provided. It is a four storey structure with 4 banquet halls that are centrally air conditioned. Anywhere between 500 to 1000 guests can be accommodated in these halls. There is also provision of 28 guest rooms with all facilities for guests staying for events. Kitchens dedicated to each hall are separate with enough space and hygiene conditions maintained. Parking is ample with 200 cars parked at ease in cellar and sub cellar levels.

The convention center seeks to address philanthropic purpose in the city and proceeds of business from the center will go towards current and future activities of KCA. The residents of Visakhapatnam Smart City now have yet another facility to consider for their events next time one wishes to organize one.
