In the Covid-19 pandemic, employment has been difficult to find and most people have had to do odd jobs to earn their livelihood. Even the governments have been unable to organise any job fairs for the people due to the prevailing circumstances. But now, with the situation improving, a job fair is being organised in Visakhapatnam. This fair is being organised by the National Career Service (NCS), which comes under the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.
This job fair will see 15 companies come and select candidates for 270 vacancies. All the vacancies are in Visakhapatnam District only. Any candidate who has passed 7th grade or done BSc, BA, MBA, GNM, BSc in Nursing, D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, BSc (Chemistry), MSc and other courses can attend this job fair and sit in for interviews.
Interested candidates, who are eligible, can register for this job fair in Visakhapatnam at the NCS website by 6 PM, on 21 October 2021. Those who fail to register for the job fair due to some emergency can still attend the job fair if they want and get registered at the venue itself. Interested candidates will have to carry photocopies of their Aadhaar card, PAN card, resume, educational qualifications and some passport-size photos.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, all the candidates have been requested by the organisers to follow Covid-19 protocol during the job fair.
