With the aim of providing an ecosystem for IT and Fintech, AP Electronics and IT Agency has started the Fintech Valley in Visakhapatnam. It is a whole world in itself that places. Andhra Pradesh and consequently India at the forefront of Fintech capacities. Currently 8 promising startups have been shortlisted for incubation at the accelerator facility there.
The accelerator programme at Fintech Valley has been started by ICICI Bank and Mahindra Finance and the technology back up is provided by Microsoft. Eight companies have already started operations at Fintech Tower, Rushikonda. The progress and partnerships have a optimistic outlook and the govt. is enthusiastic about opening such ventures at Rushikonda, where the Madhurawada IT Special Economic Zone, Sunrise Incubation Hub and Millennium Tower are located.
“AP would be made the blockchain capital of the world with special focus on investments in Visakhapatnam”, says Mr. Chowdary and quoted by The Hindu. The perception comes from the man who has been chosen to head the blockchain technology committee set up by Bureau of Indian Standards. He is tasked with suggesting measures for secured applications in blockchain.
