Visakhapatnam is all set to host the Vizag Bay Marathon and Collector of Visakhapatnam Mr.Pravin Kumar has launched the medal.

Not just your average marathon this one, people of Visakhapatnam. The Vizag Bay Marathon is all set to happen soon on December 23rd and the registrations are already pouring in. So far 3000 registrations are in and it is expected to touch 10,000. This is in comparison to 7,500 last year. The Collector of Visakhapatnam, Mr.Pravin Kumar has launched the outstanding medal for the marathon finisher. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu had earlier blessed the night marathon by launching its website – http://vizagbaymarathon.com/. Among the events Visakhapatnam is set to host, this stands out because of it’s unique timing which is the night. All the city lovers enjoy Vizag most by the night and from this unique event one can expect to be thrilled by the united city effort under the starry sky.

PrimeLife Sports Association in association with Deep Trust are conducting the event and the categories are 5 kms, 10 kms and half-marathon i.e 21.1 kms. The second edition of Night Marathon will take place on 23rd December 2017 i.e Saturday evening at RK beach to represent love, compassion and passion that the people of Vizag share for their city. The race-director is Dr.Murali Nannepenneni who feels such events not only raise awareness but are a way to put a united city effort and showcase talents.
