Government of Andhra Pradesh is doing the work of promoting trade and entrepreneurship among women and for the same the Industrial Park i.e International Trade and Technology Hub is being set up. An industrial Park in Visakhapatnam dedicated for women, Human resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is quite optimistic about it. It is set to cost Rs.16 Crores and already 50 acres of land have been allotted for it at Girijala Village.
This project is in association with Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India, ALEAP. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu will set the stone today. 200 women entrepreneurs will be allotted land for setting up business ventures in the industrial park. That is not all. They will also be helped with technical assistance as well as training for the same.
The venture in Visakhapatnam, will see ALEAP working in tandem with the government and it has already trained 10,000 women from the city. Be it small and medium enterprises, garments or manufacturing industries etc, the ventures will seek women to come forward and seek business base of their own.
