Twitter handle of Visakhapatnam Airport is abuzz with angry rants of passengers yet again. What is it this time?

Passengers, do not like waiting and neither does anyone for that matter. The offending issue this time is the excessively long queues at the security check that has caused passengers at Visakhapatnam Airport to vent their anger. Taking to twitter, some have given photographic evidence while others are verbose with their reasons and complaints. What’s more is that, they Twitter rant marks both Union Aviation Minister as well as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu. This doesn’t sound right and especially considering the recent low rankings received by the city airport.

Allegedly, there was no place for the passengers to stand and clear the counters. there was no space and no staff enough for speeding up the procedure. People have asked for faster checking in process with speedier security checks. This problem is aggravated at peak hours. The issue on Twitter is being addressed by none other than the Visakhapatnam Airport Director himself since there is no special man power for managing the handle. He has conveyed that more staff have been sanctioned expressly for this and will be joining in phases soon. The situation is expected to improve by January 2018 as per him.

The other offending issue is the defunct SBI ATM outside which some one has pointed out on the social media handle. These issues are pointing at a grave state of affairs which the Visakhapatnam Airport must handle expressly.
