President and supreme commander of the Armed forces Ram Nath Kovind will be in Visakhapatnam on December 7th for a two-day to participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of the Submarine Arm of the Indian Navy. The much talked about maritime patrol aircraft TU-142 in Visakhapatnam has kept us waiting for many days now. This museum, which is slated to be another feather in the city’s cap, is all set to be inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind on 7 December.
This news, which has ended multiple speculations of the museum missing yet another deadline, proves to be heartening to many citizens of Visakhapatnam.
The officials are determined to present this prestigious project as one-of-its-kind so as keep the visitors hooked. Also, this will be the first time an aircraft museum will be coming exactly opposite to a submarine museum. Additional features such as a coffee shop, simulation game, souvenir shop and more will ensure that the visitors are entertained to various facilities.
Apart from being another attractive feature on Visakhapatnam’s tourist map, the TU 142 also gives us an opportunity to get a glimpse of our rich heritage.
