Visakhapatnam has all the right things that a modern day traveler wants. A little bit of mainstream tourist attraction with good deals and places for adventure junkies, campers and nature hoppers. Be it the hills and green valleys of Araku or the tribal hinterland of Lambasingi, people are making a beeline for Visakhapatnam.
The temperatures are falling and the cool sea breeze is picking up. Vizag is recommended for travel enthusiasts in the winter months which is starting. Hotels are filling up and we have accounts from resorts in Araku to star hotels in the city reporting bookings online done in advance. Footfalls and visibility indicate that it’s going to be a good season for tourism and the new attractions in the city will definitely draw crowds.
For campers and adventure junkies there are aqua adventures and trekking and camping in your group at Araku. Name it and we have it, kayaking, rappelling, rope adventures, aqua zorbing, off roading and all. A lot of tourist traffic in Visakhapatnam is coming from foreign shores and this is not surprising considering the global visibility that the city has generated for itself. It is beautiful, it is clean, safe and inviting with a well rounded package deal for all.
For localites who have the good stuff all round the year, no harm in us indulging over the weekend with our friends and family. Visakhapatnam definitely spells ‘Wanderlust’ for the cool winter months. No time like right now to enjoy.
