For the development of tourism on Yarada Hill, Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) is looking for a consultant to prepare a master plan.
Around 1,394 acres of land in Yarada has been allocated to VUDA in 2008 for eco-tourism, star hotels, resorts, golf course, botanical garden, to list a few.
Yarada Hill in Visakhapatnam aligns to a fabulous beach with an exotic blend of golden sands and the lush green stretch of hills. Nestled between the hills on all the three sides and the Bay of Bengal on one side, this beach is an ideal spot for a day out.
Defense Radar Centre, housing colony for Navy with shopping complexes and a lighthouse on the eastern side are situated on the hill.
To develop the hills for various new establishments, the consultant will take the responsibility of preparing the layout, financial model, necessary environmental impact assessment, open space designing, illumination design, and final layout report. VUDA recommends maximum space of the land for pedestrians convenience. Tourism and other recreational facilities would be proposed in the plan.
