Tollywood gears up for big-ticket multi-starrer movies in 2018

Tollywood has enjoyed a successful run in the previous year. Many films managed to strike gold at the box office and resulted in decent margins of profit to the producers. The fans, however, did not have many opportunities to witness multi-starrers in 2017.

Even though the number of multi-starrers made in Tollywood is comparatively lesser, given the craze and frenzy surrounding such movies, it can be expected that these films possess high possibilities or raking in huge collections.

Tollywood in 2018: A multi-starrer galore in store

2018, however, promises to be a different ball game altogether. With different actors geared up to share the screen space with other actors, the fans sure seem to be in for a treat this year.

Tollywood will be flagging off this year with ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ which will be hitting the screens on January 10th. While Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in the film, it has been reported that veteran actor Daggubati Venkatesh will be playing a guest role in the film. The fans can feast watching the two stars together for about five minutes.

Venkatesh will also be sharing screen space with Akkineni Nagachaitanya and Varun Tej in two other films directed by Kalyan Krishna and Anil Ravipudi respectively.

Young heroes Sharwanand and Nithiin will also be acting together for ‘Dagudu Moothalu’ directed by Harish Shankar. Also, it has been learned that ‘Allari’ Naresh will be playing a key role in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.

The biggest multi-starrer of the season, however, seems to be SS Rajamouli’s next which stars Ramcharan and Jr. NTR. After taking the box office by storm with his magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, Rajamouli seems to be poised to deliver yet another epic with this heavyweight multi-starrer.
