7 music albums which impressed Tollywood fans in 2017

2017 has been one memorable year for Tollywood. Many movies that released this year have not only got the cash registers ringing but have also impressed the audiences with their peppy tunes. So here are seven such albums that released this year, that we feel, got the music lovers tap their feet.

#1 Khaidi No: 150

Mega Star’s comeback film has given a kick-start to 2017 with its rocking album. Rock Star DSP, the music director of the film, made the audience go crazy with his tunes which are a blend of mass, rock, and melody. These songs, coupled with the on-screen grace of Megastar, took these numbers to another level.

#2 Shatamanam Bhavati

This family entertainer, while making the audience relive their village experiences on screen, managed to strike gold at the box office. A proven specialist in composing tunes for such “feel-good” films, Mickey.J.Meyer once again delivered some soothing tunes for this film and ended up playing a major role in the film’s success.

#3 2.O

Boy! Don’t the two songs released thus far promise something! From A.R.Rahman’s brilliance to a typical sophistication of musical instruments, these two numbers will certainly get your adrenaline rushing.

#4 Fidaa

It’s often said the soul of a romantic film lies in its music and didn’t Shakti Kanth testify this fact with some weight! Be it the peppy ‘Vachinde’ or the melodious ‘Oosupodu’, Fidaa’s album catered some special tunes.

#5 Malli Rava

Shravan Bharadwaj’s music played a huge role in creating the pre-release buzz of Malli Rava. This young music director from Hyderabad delivered some refreshing tunes which certainly need to be applauded.

#6 Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi

With an impressive title, this Ram’s flick has a subtle and convincing storyline. And for the same, some enduring background score was needed and DSP, as usual, nailed it. The album which is a combination of rock and classical tunes certainly proved to be a major plus to the movie.

#7 Agnyaathavaasi

Anirudh Ravichander has finally made his Tollywood debut and how! From the soothing ‘Swagatam Krishna’ to the cheerful ‘Gaali Vaaluga’, this album has all the ingredients to strike a chord with you right away.
