Seven Days, the old-timer from Vijayawada, opened shop here recently. The eatery that is divided into three portions holds a cafe, restaurant and a banquet hall. The pale wood and maroon coloured place has comfortable seating with enough space between the tables to offer you privacy.
The cafe has a shelf lined up with different kinds of breads, rusks, plum cakes and boxes of cookies. But what really attracts the crowd here are the cake and drink counters. Bar stools set up against the drink counter, it offers classic milkshakes like vanilla and chocolate and also exotics like kiwi, blackcurrant and lichi. The drink bar also offers granitas, coffee – both hot and cold and ice teas. A glass-lined counter is filled with an array of cakes and pies in different variants. Tiny red velvet cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting and cakes made with imported chocolate and fruits are both a sight to see and scrumptious to eat. Pizzas, burgers, puffs and hot dogs vie for attention as the Fried Chicken steals the show here.
The restaurant is cosy and offers a menu of Indian, Tandoor and Chinese. Soups, salads, main course and dessert can be enjoyed here a la carte or buffet style. The chef’s special mutton curry is a must try.
A live kebabri counter in the open area that doubles as a party space; offers tawa fish and barbeque made with little spice and color so as to retain the flavour of the meat.
Reasonable prices, spaciousness and ample parking are a major draw for the place.
